Dining in Volcano Village

Café Ohia
Café Ohia is a unique island-style deli tucked away off Old Volcano Road, less than 10 minutes away from Volcanoes National Park. The Deli is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The dining atmosphere is casual. Café Ohia is known for its signature sideway sandwich, so named because of the way the bread is sliced. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily. Customers can enjoy a variety of hot island-style dishes, home-made soups, mouth-watering, fresh pastries and a choice of salads. At Café Ohia you get a warm and courteous experience, and you're always served with a smile.

Café Ono
Located in Volcano Garden Arts is Café Ono. This environmentally friendly, vibrant café serves vegetarian cuisine. On the menu are sandwiches, soups, salads, and gourmet desserts. This is an an ideal place to dine for families with children, romantic dates or people conducting business. Café Ono also features locally grown tea and coffee. Whether inside or outside, diners get a glimpse of the beautiful garden. Café Ono is situated in back of an art gallery which showcases works from many local artist and Ira Ono. Lunch is offered from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Coffee, tea, and desserts can be enjoyed from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant
Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant is located a mile away from Volcanoes National Park. Owner-chef, Albert Jeyte dishes up continental cuisine mixed with a tad-bit of local flavor. Some breakfast selections are omelets, pancakes & French toast, and a variety of house specials. There are choices of sides and beverages. Lunch options are burgers, sandwiches, salads, or hot local favorites. Delicious desserts and beverages are also available. On the dinner menu are options such as chicken Tuscany, duck L'orange, eggplant supreme, and New York steak, just to name a few. There are always nightly specials. Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am to 10 am, lunch is served from 10 am to 2 pm, and dinner is served nightly starting at 5 pm. A Sunday brunch is offered from 10 am to 2 pm. Kilauea Lodge & Restaurant offers guests some of the finest dining in the area.

Lava Rock Café
Lava Rock Café is located next to Kilauea Kreations, off the Volcano Village exit, and behind the Kilauea General Store. Charming and cozy, Lava Rock Café, is a favorite of tourists and locals. This is a down-home, family-friendly type of diner that serves just about everything, from burgers to steak and shrimp combos. Lava Rock Café is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Thai Thai Restaurant
Thai Thai Restaurant, located on Old Volcano Road, serves authentic, ethnic Thai cuisine. The restaurant hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The last seating ends at 8:30 pm.
